    Worldwide Acceptance

    Standard Chartered Gold cardholders can use the card anywhere in the world owing to the fact that it holds recognition in almost 30 million commercial establishments globally, apart from thousands of stores all over Philippines. Your Gold Visa card will be accepted at merchants with Visa and MasterCard symbols.

    Annual Membership and Other Fees

    The annual membership fee for principal cardholders of the Standard Chartered Gold card is P2,500 and for supplementary cardholders, it is P1,250. The annual fee is waived if your minimum annual spend is P90,000 and above. The finance charge levied by the bank is 3.50% per month. In case of a card misplacement, the fee charged by the bank is P400. Cardholders can also request for a sales slip at a cost of P200. Delay in payment results in a late payment fee of P600 or 7.50% of the outstanding balance, whichever is higher.

    Cash Advance

    Standard Chartered allows you to draw instant cash at any time. Cardholders can withdraw cash from all branches of the bank as well as any ATM with the Plus or Cirrus symbol. You can withdraw up to 30% of your credit limit from your credit card account.

    360° Rewards Programme

    You can earn rewards point every time you swipe your Gold credit card. For every P10 spent using your card, you get 1 point that can be redeemed for gift certificates, cash rebates, air miles or pay annual fees. Also, you do not have to worry about redeeming the rewards points before a deadline as they have no expiration.


    You can also purchase big-ticket items with your Standard Chartered Gold card and opt for an installment payment plan. The bank allows you to pay over 3 to 4 months at zero or low interest rates. This option is available at select EZPay merchants accredited by the bank.

    Gold cardholders of the bank have the opportunity to consolidate balances from other credit cards to their Standard Chartered Gold credit card account. You can transfer outstanding balances from other accounts and avail lower interest rates in your Standard Chartered account and handle your finances better.

    You can make your credit card payments via three modes of electronic payments:

    • The following eligibility criteria should be met in order to avail the Gold card from Standard Chartered:
    • Applicant should have a minimum monthly income of P18,333.
    • The minimum age for a principal cardholder is at least 21 years or above.
    • The minimum age for a supplementary card is at least 16 years old and above.
    • Applicant must have a postpaid account.

    1. Is there a limit to the number of supplementary cardholders that can be added to the principal Gold card?

      Yes, a maximum of five members can be enrolled for supplementary cards and the credit limit is shared between the principal and supplementary cardholder.

    2. Is there a fee levied by Standard Chartered if the outstanding balance exceeds the set credit limit?

      Yes, an over limit fee of P500 is charged to your credit card, every time a transaction exceeds the assigned credit limit, which includes cash advance, retail purchase and other charges.

    3. When is the credit card statement released to the cardholder?

      The credit card statement is generated monthly on a specific date. If there is a delay in receiving the statement, the bank must be notified to avoid late payment fees.

    4. How much of cash advance amount is the Gold cardholder entitled to?

      A Standard Chartered Gold cardholder can get cash advances of up to 30% of the credit limit.

    5. What is the process of obtaining a replacement card from Standard Chartered in case of a misplaced card?

      In case of a lost or stolen card, the cardholder is required to inform the Contact Centre of the Bank, requesting to block unauthorized use of your card as well as provide a replacement card.
